Britney Campbell of Legends Bank Earns National Certification

Britney Campbell, Senior Vice President of Marketing & Public Relations at Legends Bank, was recently awarded the Certified Financial Marketing Professional (CFMP) certification from the American Bankers Association.

“Earning the CFMP certification authenticates Britney’s experience and depth of education in the bank marketing arena,” said Tommy Bates, President and Chief Executive Officer of Legends Bank.

The CFMP certification is awarded to individuals who demonstrate excellence in the field of financial services marketing. To qualify for the CFMP certification, individuals must have certain levels of experience and education in the financial services marketing profession, pass an exam and agree to abide by a code of ethics. The CFMP exam covers many areas including financial principles, laws and regulations, marketing research, characteristics of marketing plans, and marketing components.

Campbell is a native of Clarksville-Montgomery County, having earned her Bachelors of Business Administration from Austin Peay State University and graduated from both the Southeastern School of Banking (2006) and School of Bank Marketing (2008).

Britney is active in her community and has served many roles for various local organizations. She is a graduate of both Leadership Middle Tennessee (2019) and Leadership Clarksville (2006). Campbell was also a founding board member of the Clarksville Young Professionals organization (2008) and is currently serving on the board for Visit Clarksville. As an Austin Peay alum, she served as a board member and past president of the Austin Peay State University’s Governors Club. In 2011, Britney received the Spirit Award, which she was presented in 2011 at Austin Peay’s 27th annual Candlelight Ball and the Outstanding Service Award from the university’s alumni association in 2018.

Financial services professionals, working through ABA, initiated the CFMP certification and seven others in order to establish meaningful standards of knowledge in specialty areas of the financial services industry. ABA Professional Certifications formally recognize those who meet these standards and meet professional continuing education and development requirements.
